Orthotics: For Your Feet Only
Orthotic insoles are custom-made shoe inserts designed to provide foot comfort by supporting, stabilizing, and in some cases correcting your foot posture & alignment whether you are standing or moving. Unlike generic off-the-shelf insoles, custom orthotics are tailor-contoured specifically from impressions of your feet β distributing weight evenly throughout the foot without irritation of pressure points
Orthotics are often used to relieve pain from conditions like flat feet, plantar fasciitis, arthritis, and overuse injuries β but theyβre also for people looking to needing improved foot comfort during daily movement or athletic performance.
Foot Alignment
Check to see if your feet go flat when you stand on them, because arches that flatten can eventually result in painful feet. Check your foot arches this way:
While sitting, put your leg across your lap and check out the arch of your foot. Nice contour? Sure,... but check out your arch when standing (use a mirror or a friend). Did it go flat? That's the most common problem.
Foot arches are usually flexible, meaning that a nice looking arch (without weight on it) can go flat when standing on it (flat foot); flat arch discomfort is just asking for little support. FOOTCRAFTER custom made orthotics will support your arches.
Helps relieve foot, heel, and lower limb pain
Supports healthy posture from the ground up
Reduces fatigue during long periods of standing or walking
Minimizes strain from repetitive movement and uneven weight distribution
Designed specifically for the unique shape and needs of your feet
Your feet are the foundation of your body. If theyβre misaligned or lacking proper support, it can cause discomfort not just in your feet, but in your knees, hips, and back.
The Common Foot Failure
When your arch collapses, the ankle falls/twists inward (internal rotation) with ugly mechanical pressure transmits through fascia, muscles, tendons and ligaments of feet, ankles, knees, hips & low back. Orthotics govern the collapse and limit ugly rotational forces by keeping your feet and ankles in healthier position.
Custom Orthotics Are For...
Flat feet or high arches
Pain when walking, standing, or running
Conditions like plantar fasciitis or arthritis
Unstable or uneven wear in your shoes

Custom-Made vs. Over-the-Counter
Your insole is the temple for your foot.
The bottom (sole) of the foot has contours that are unique to an individual. Stepping down into a wrong contour could cause pressure points or general discomfort, while stepping into your personal contour made from your 3D FOOTCRAFTER scan is expected to be super comfortable.
Using an over-the-counter insole is a hit & miss thing; it might dig in the wrong places, so they use soft materials that help like cotton candy, make claims of shock absorption, but don't help foot-mechanics
Custom orthotics are designed specifically for your individual foot and shape, ensuring proper support and even weight distribution across the arch.
Each personβs arch has a unique contour and apex point. What works for one person can easily hurt another.
Custom FOOTCRAFTER orthotics provide true custom support, providing comfort and performance where store-bought options might often fail.
Who Can Take My Foot Impression?
By using FOOTCRAFTER's high-resolution 3D scanning system, anyone with a smartphone can follow our guide (below) and scan a foot impression. It takes just 10 seconds.
Whether youβre using iPhone / iPad or Android, the scan captures precise foot and arch contours β along with subtle deviations β so we can produce true custom orthotics that fit comfortably and perform reliably.
Itβs quick, accurate, and incredibly convenient.
Shoes That Are Suitable For Orthotics...
Before you buy new shoes, try your FOOTCRAFTER insoles in the shoes you already own. Suddenly, theyβll feel more comfortable than ever. Cheers to that!
The fit of your shoes will dictate the style of orthotics that you choose. The original insole may be removed to make way for the new orthotic.
If your shoe does not have a removable insole, make sure to select that option during your order. Weβll adjust the orthotic style to ensure a proper fit.
